|
| Workshop participants
learn how to put on ties by practicing on each other. They also
learned how to dress for and be successful at a job interview, and
how to write a resume. Workplace behavior skills are important for
tomorrow's workforce. |
|
| Everyone showed off their
best at the Saturday night formal dinner and dance, and practiced
their dining and etiquette skills. A formal receiving line hosted by
the naval station's commanding officer and corsages and
boutoinnaires for every one made the night special. |
|
| Base commander Captain
Nehms explains to the young people how much it takes to learn how to
be a naval aviator. |
|
Right: Captain Nehms helps 4-H'ers learn what it takes to fly by
suiting some of them up and placing them in a plane and talks to the
group.
|

|
All of the young people
posed with Captain Nehms for a photograph by one of the helicopters
used for training on the base.
