4-H Club Congress Delegation 1932 (3707 KB). This unique
photograph measuring 38" by 6" shows the entire national delegation
attending the National 4-H Club Congress. Several names are recorded on
the back of the photo--Lorraine
Chamberlin (best all around 4-H in the state), Ellen Dirr (healthiest in
the state), Mary Ellen Lovelace (best 4-H seamstress), Grace Warren (home
demonstration agent), Flavia Gleason (state agent). This photograph was donated to the State 4-H program by Mrs.
Lorraine Chamberlin Howell's family, upon her passing in 2001. Over time
the photograph developed a crack and has weathered with age.

Woodrow W. Brown. We thank Mrs. Brown and the Howell family for sharing their
