Poster
Art Program 65VAS
4-H members have the opportunity to use poster art to promote public
understanding and support of the 4-H program. Goal encourage members to
develop an awareness of visual imagery and its power to express thoughts
and ideas. The poster program has a theme that rotates every two years,
check the events and activities handbook for poster art themes. Posters
eligible for the state competition are due in June, typically June
1.

Photo
Exhibit 65PHS
Provides a showcase for 4-H members' photographic accomplishments. Photos
are displayed for public view to increase public awareness of the 4-H
program. Youth may submit a photo exhibit in one of three divisions only.
Photo exhibits eligible for the state competition are due in June,
typically June 1.

Share
the Fun 65PAS
This
program is designed to help 4-Hers discover, develop, and share their
talents. The objective of the program is to enhance appreciation of
talent, leadership, confidence, interest in training, and the ability to
discover wholesome recreation. The state contest takes place at Florida
4-H Congress in July at the University of Florida.

Public
Speaking Contest - General 65PUS
This
program is designed to give 4-Hers experience in preparation and delivery
of a 4-H related speech. The contest requires youth to recognize,
organize, and present information on a 4-H related topic. Youth must
acquire the ability to speak in public, express ideas effectively, and
show poise and confidence while giving a timed speech. The state contest takes place at Florida
4-H Congress in July at the University of Florida.
