Cats "Skills for Life" Project Series |

| This series is for youth in grades 4-12. Youth explore animal feeding, care, selection and judging, fitting and showing, management, health, reproduction, genetics and many other topics as they develop important life skills. Each project guide includes a separate achievement program and activities that promote learning and interaction with other youth, adult helpers, family members and the community. | This project for 4-Hers, 5-8 years of age, is designed for a leader-led group experience. The curriculum, introducing the needs and care of small animals is divided into three units: Health, Nutrition, and Care. Each lesson plan includes an opening, activities (hands-on/experiential), discussion questions, games, songs, books, an evaluation for and a parent newsletter.
