This project guide is for 4-H members ages 9-11, and is the first in the Rabbit "Skills for Life" series.  What's Hoppening will teach 4-H'ers about; the different rabbit breeds, the different body parts, how to care for a rabbit, making a home for your rabbit, how to keep records, treating parasites, keeping your rabbit healthy, about feeding your rabbit, and successfully breeding rabbits. This project guide is for 4-H members ages 12-14, and is the second in the Rabbit "Skills for Life" series.  Making Tracks will teach 4-H'ers about; rabbit selection and showing, how to tattoo your rabbit, keeping financial records, treating health problems and recognizing rabbit diseases, marketing and harvesting rabbit products, and careers in the rabbit industry. RA3 Rabbit 3 - "Skills for Life" All Ears 4HCCS BU-6071 Ordering INFO
This project guide is for 4-H members ages 15 and up, and is the third in the Rabbit "Skills for Life" series.  All Ears will teach 4-H'ers about; planning a breeding program, genetics, calculating production numbers, how to determine pregnancy, managing a rabbitry, how to identify the bones of a rabbit, recognizing diseases, how to show a rabbit and good sportsmanship, how to register a rabbit, and marketing your rabbit. This rabbit project training aid will help 4-H members make their own model rabbit by using the pattern in the book.  Activities that can be demonstrated on the rabbit are administering medication, identifying parts of the rabbit, and many others.  This teaching aid should be used in conjunction with the Rabbit "Life Skills" series 4H CCS 6069, 6070, 6071, and 6072.
