| The Dog "Skills for Life" series will help youth practice the life skills of; decision making, communicating with others, leading self and others, planning and organizing, and learning to learn. Youth will also learn many concepts related to their dog project. | ||

| This project guide is for 4-H members ages 9-11, and is the first in the Dog "Skills for Life" series. Wiggles and Wags will teach 4-H'ers learn to care for their dog, identify dog body parts, select a dog, learn the different breeds, learn about dog behavior, how to control fleas and other health concepts, learn about grieving over a lost pet, and how to groom and train your dog. | ||
