This is an animal sciences poultry publication suggested for members age 10 and up. This project book introduces the incubator and how to hatch eggs. The book goes on to explain the life of the egg. Embryology in the Classroom

Egg-splore the science of embryology from egg to chicken.  This new school based curriculum is designed in two levels.  Both levels are correlated to the National Science Standards.  The first level egg-splores embryology from incubation to hatching.  The second level incorporates several experiments that focus on reinforcing scientific method.  In both levels, there are student sheets, color posters, and interactive web based curriculum experiences.  Students and teachers alike will find this curriculum both egg-citing and egg-speriential.  The two levels are beginner and advanced.

Poultry "Skills for Life" 

Involves youth in activities that result in not only learning what farm animals are about, but also to help them practice developing important life skills such as making decisions, relating positively to others and learning to learn. Youth play Farm Bingo, Create a Critter, and participate in an animal project of helping youth explore farm animals.
