CD3 Kids on the Grow! - Child Development 
This curriculum series is for grades K-12 and addresses issues related to kids on their own, such as: what can we do to help them handle emergencies, develop home-alone skills, stay healthy and relate appropriately to others. These guides, wrapped around the newly revised American Red Cross Baby-sitting curriculum, provide dozens of fun, interesting and challenging activities to help youth care for themselves, their families and their communities.

Adventure Club Summer Program   Ordering INFO

Moving Ahead Together - Adolescent Growth and Development   4HCCS MI-7515 Ordering INFO
The Moving Ahead Together staff development curriculum provides complete lesson plans and participant support materials to prepare adults to work effectively with youth in non-formal (out of school) settings.  This 600-page curriculum has demonstrated success in providing both youth development professionals and volunteer youth workers with a baseline understanding of the principles and practices of youth development work.  Instructions for trainers in the delivery of these materials are clear and easily followed.  The use of a "What to Do", "What to Say" format and the inclusion of handout and overhead masters contribute to the user-friendly nature of the lesson plans.  The curriculum supports a five day (40 hour) workshop.  
Babyopoly:  An Educational Game... About Life   G-734
This publication is for grades 6-12 and presents itself as a game, but also helps young people consider the real-life responsibilities that come from sexual involvement.  It offers three scenarios for a prospective parent.  Students are asked to share their insights about what they learned and how their new-found understanding will affect their future behavior.  Formerly available through National 4-H Council.
